Portland Japanese Garden presents Art in the Garden: Katsura Imperial Villa. Imperial Villa is a 17th-century masterpiece of traditional Japanese architecture captured exquisitely in more than 50 elegant black-and-white photographs taken in the 1950s by internationally-acclaimed photographer Ishimoto Yasuhiro. The photographs will be on view in two rotations during the run of the exhibition.

The six-part IFC Original comedy series "Portlandia" was created, written by and stars Fred Armisen (SNL) and Carrie Brownstein (vocalist/guitarist, Sleater-Kinney). Each episode's character-based shorts draw viewers into the creators' dreamy and absurd rendering of Portland, Ore. Watch each new show for FREE, paired with a McMenamins microbrew, at McMenamins Mission Theatre.

For anyone who ever wondered, "What's behind that door?" while visiting Portland's historic Pittock Mansion, come find out during Behind the Scenes tours. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mansion guides will lead small groups through areas of the Mansion not ordinarily open to the public.
