Chef's Profile

A native Texan, Chef Mark Hosack brings a wealth of experience to Gracie’s Restaurant in Hotel deLuxe, including a degree from New York’s Culinary Institute of America, an exclusive opportunity as the featured chef at New York’s famous Beard House, and champion of the 2003 "Portland Iron Chef" competition. He has also garnered knowledge from successful restaurants, such as Brennan’s Restaurant in Houston and Red Star Tavern and Roast House, Pazzo Ristorante and McCormick and Schmick’s in Portland. Chef Hosack works directly with local producers and growers to procure the finest seasonal ingredients for his bold, creative and fresh dishes. |
